I remember these kids!
It was LIL NIQUE & DJ JUS who were already established, and they’d been all over tv performing on talk shows. They were also on NICKELODEON’S FIGURE IT OUT & APOLLO KIDS. I believe they even had their own radio show on NY’s HOT 97. Then it was TAY-BOOGIE (BK), SHORTEE REDD, P-NUT (FROM LA), STARSKY (BOSTON?)& HUTCH(BK), MC REN, ANTWAN & RAY RAY (FROM DETROIT). Everyone except for the latter two were part of the hip hop super-group formed by Michael Bivins in 1998/9. The group was called the Magnificent 7 (Mag 7). All 10 of the kids were a group called The Bic Ten Pee Wee Allstars. Their first single was “Street Mix”, and they released another single titled “Something Terrible”. ANTWAN & RAY RAY released two singles as well called “Dance Wit Me” and “Feeling It”. After their album “Michael Bivins Presents: The Bic Ten Pee Wee Allstars” didn’t do well, the group disbanded.
The music was good, I feel it was a lot better than their predecessors, but I personally don’t think the world was ready for another kiddie/pre-teen rap group. I liked their image though. I think that if they had a bigger push, they might have done really well. I also don’t think it would have been hard for them to make the transition to adult rappers. SHORTEE REDD played in HE’S GOT GAME. I haven’t seen him in anything since. He does have a MySpace page, but it’s set to private.
LIL NIQUE & DJ JUS was in the BET Blockbuster hit PRISON SONG. DJ JUS was also in BROWN SUGAR.

Mid-summer 2006, RAY-RAY (aka RASHAD MORGAN) had a song out with YOUNG DRO, and he was signed to TI’s GRAND HUSTLE record label.

Awww … I remember these little boys. Michael Bivens used to put those teenage/pre-teen groups together: ABC, 702, Subway , Pee Wee All-Stars.
I know Rashad was signed to T.I’s label for a minute.

I remember watching this video when it came out thinking how good those kids were. Anyways, they never really had another great song nor did they get regular play on BET (and where i live, the old BET would be the only way to hear that song). Always wondered what happened to them and now I know…thanks!
