OMG! From junior high all the way to high school I had a mean crush on these boy from Immature. Batman was my favorite; I swore one day we were gonna get married. I don’t remember them when they came out with On Our Worst Behavior, but when Playtyme Is Over came out, it was a wrap. I had their pics all over my wall! I have mad FRESH! magazines, I loved them to death. For my 14th birthday I went and got their debut album, and I used to play the hell outta that tape. Yes a tape, because it wasn’t even on CD anymore. The last album I bought from the group was Introducing IMx. After that, I finished high school, and moved the fuck on.
Earlier this week I had been looking at some videos that I will post for next week’s Th’owback Thurs, but for now, you will have to settle for some Immature/IMx throwbacks.

OH my goodness, I remember Immature. They were the ish back in the day. Batman was also my favorite……we were going to get married too. I was in the 6th grade when I became an official fan. Remember when Batman played Rodger on Sister Sister……..remember when he played that awesome key board solo on Nickelodeon’s “Big Help”. That’s when I fell in love. Also shout out to whom ever can find that interview Immature did with Ananda from BET’s “Teen Summit” back in 96′. I too moved on after introducing Imx. By then I was in the Tenth Grade. But I still have that Sister 2 Sister magazine cover from 95′. The one where Immature are in those green and white and jump suits. Sister2Sister dedicated a whole issue to them. . I remember reading it in class and the teacher taking it from me. Immature was the best group ever.
